Participants attend a 2.5 hour class once a week for eight weeks as well one full day session (which is between the sixth and seventh sessions).It works by using a mixture of meditation and other mindfulness techniques alongside training the body through some physical exertion to help relieve mental stress.It has been seen to be helpful, as well, in the alleviation of chronic pain.Mbsr training uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, yoga, and exploration of patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling, and action.You can learn more about mbsr here.
